Help me choose a color for my new jazz

So I'm planning on getting a Player Series Jazz Bass next week but I still have a hard time on deciding which color do I want it in. I've narrowed it down to 3 options: sunburst, black and buttercream.
I know I want a maple neck and that for all three of those colors I would get a B/W/B replacement pickguard, so I have 3 very specific combinations on mind. I just don't know which I should choose Can you help me?

Black always. Unless you like sunburst of buttercream better. Then sunburst or buttercream.

Joking aside, Buttercream would be my vote. Should look nice and a little different with the B/W/B guard too.

I can't speak for what you'd do, but for me I'd do buttercream, white pickguard, and rosewood neck. But if you've gotta have maple than I'd get the same thing but black guard and maple neck. Buttercream is one of my favorite colors.

I think you need to let us know if you have a preference on the pick guard color cause that has influence as well.

If it were my money, I'd go with the Black-On-Black color scheme. Then, I'd invest a few more bucks into getting some black pearloid vinyl "inlays" a la Jockomo to give it that cool, funky Seventies-era groove. In other words, something like this…

Yeah well as I said I want to put a black/white/black pg in there as I think I'll work best with either of these colors, even though I'm not intirely sure how it will look with the buttercream. A little bit like a black guard tele i suppose?

Well if you are not going to do the right thing and pick surf colors like fiesta red, seafoam green, or daphne blue, then I say buttercream.

I voted for sunburst.

If you want a b/w/b PG the that eliminates a black body in my book. I don't like black on black. A Black PG works on sunburst or buttercream. I you want a black body get a tortoise PG. it will look very cool with the maple neck. I had a Telecaster in that combo and it had a cool vintage vibe.

Buttercream. I have a bass in Vintage Blonde (which is prolly close) and it's a beauty... AND it's not as common as black, sunburst, natural, red, etc.

Buttercream. You see so many black and sunburst basses. Boring to me. Buttercream is a little bit different, therefore I'd go with that.
