Help me find a cheap "rock 'n' roll" blazer (jacket)

I used to own two or three blazers such as OP seeks. Got them all at a place in Kendall Square, Cambridge (MA) affectionately called "Dollar-A-Pound" by all the punks and alternative musicians in the 1980s. The shop (whose real name no one knows) was essentially a rag manufacturer: They would collect used clothing all week long, and then on Saturday mornings from 9:00AM to noon they would open up to scavengers who would pick through all this used apparel and select their faves. You would get charged by the pound (hence "Dollar-A-Pound" ...yep, you could fill your closet for ~$4). And then at 12:01PM they would shut their doors to the public and throw everything that was left into a giant shredder, then use the shredded remnants to manufacture rags, which they would sell (for presumably more than $1/lb)
I think my entire wardrobe from age 22-30 came from that place!

I would think the local Goodwill or Salvation Army would be the place to look nowadays.

I used to love looking for stagewear in various thrift stores. I had a powder blue tuxedo type blazer that I thought gave off Bryan Ferry vibes.
And one lucky time I found some vintage Beatle-ish boots…. IMG_0797.jpegIMG_0267.jpegIMG_0838.jpegIMG_0006.jpeg

I need a black blazer…Brick and mortar stores only, please…I AM NOT GOING ONLINE. SO FORGET THAT! 🙂
I can’t help you. No one can. You refuse to look in the one place you can search for exactly what you want. Instead, you are hoping to find it by trial and error, and that’s not how perfect finds work. Oh sure, you stumble on cool stuff from time to time, but searching for it in particular, is the best way to ensure that you will not find it.

I wish you luck in your search. We all do.
