help me ID these strings

Hey all

I have a set of flats that I had lying around that I put on a CV Squier. They sound great. But I don't know which brand they are....duh......how do I do these things. I bought a few varieties a couple of years ago and ended up not using any of them, now they're unlabeled.

Who has brass anchors and fuzzy purple windings on their flats? Anyone have a clue? Fender? GHS? I really don't remember which ones I bought... I have another set with black windings and chrome colored anchors that I also can't identify.....

Purple silk and brass anchors sound a lot like GHS Precision Flats to me. I also think LaBella had a set of flats with purple silks, but I am not sure. Is the second set flats or rounds?

Thanks. I am sure one of the sets is GHS Precision. That must be the one. The other set is also a set of flats. Old Fenders maybe? I looked at some new Fender bass strings today in GC and they all have the multicolored anchors like D'Addarios. No help.

+1 on the GHS. I think one of the heavier LaBellas (FM or FS) uses black windings.
