I found some strings in my bedroom drawer this afternoon, so out of curiosity I decided to stick them on my P bass... well I didn't expect to like them, but I really really do.
So now I wonder what they are so I can buy some more for next time I need to restring.
They're nickel plated wounds, with no coating (so not elixirs)
They were in a rotosound RB50 box, but it's definitely not them as they're on another bass I have. They're thinner than those anyway, I'd say 45-105.
No silk on either end.
All the ball ends are brass so I don't think they can be D'Addario.
They might have come off a squier Matt freeman bass I bought a year or so ago. Dunno what stock strings they usually have on. Or could be from another bass... I've bought a few used basses over the year.
My gut instinct says Fender or Rotosound, but I wanna be a bit more certain.
I'd be grateful for some ideas
