Help me Identify unknown bass.

Definitely a Vigier. It is either the Passion model (as Sulzer suggested) or the Arpege model.
Vigier Arpege. The pickup location is wrong for a Passion. As is the shape, IIRC. Passion has a much longer upper bout.
As far as I recall, Vigier's pickups were proprietary.
Great basses - lightweight, wonderful, thin profile graphite neck.
I found this quote on a different site. It was posted in 2012 so I imagine the later Vigier hardware has changed since then. In fact, from what I understand Vigier now uses pickups of their own making.

Vigier pickups have “changed over time and it's difficult to pinpoint what happened when. Essentially, early basses have two single coil Benedetti pickups and a preamp of some sort, ranging from 3eq to passive arrangements with tone controls on the rear pickup only! More recently, Vigier use Delano pickups with an excellent Glockenklang pre-amp with a 3 band EQ.
If I'm honest I think the electronics are the weakness in the early designs - the pickups could be quite noisy and they weren't especially powerful. However in the right environment they sounded superb.”

The necks, IIRC, are 10% carbon, 90% wood and have no truss rod.

You could be right. I know we carried some Vigier basses from '86-'88 in the early days of The Bass Centre, and I do recall the necks having the look of being fully carbon fiber - they very well could have been carbon over wood.
I don't know what they did back then but it isn't carbon over wood. It's a carbon strip where a skunk stripe would be.

Hard to tell for sure in the pic, but the pickups appear to look just like/very similar to the Benedetti pickups that I have in my Vigier Excess.
