Help Me Pick My Next Bass

My band finally agreed to tune up to drop C# from drop A. I argued with them a lot so i was able to use my jazz again haha. i missed her dearly after playing a rogue 5 string...

so anyway, i love my jazz was thinking about maybe getting a new bridge or pups but am not sure. i am looking for a new bass that i can rotate with my jazz.
so far i have it narrowed down to:

stingray
bongo
trying to get a sadowski lol
rick
yamaha billy sheehan model

haha i know i probably forgot a few good choices. im looking for a good meaty tone and something that looks and feels nice (nothing shaped wierd like bc riches or anything haha tho i love their guitars)

my band plays "southern thrashcore" as we have been dubbed haha. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

yamaha billy sheehan are awesome basses i did not know who he was tell like a week ago but i love those basses

sounds like your going for something with a 'bucker in it

i like my squier tele bass alot that thing is meaty as hell but i am guessing you want something better than a 300$ bass

yeah haha, i have my jazz that i love to death i am just looking at other options. i thought of getting another jazz but idk.

i like the overall "jazz/strat" shape though.

i was also looking at a musicman Big Al. i kinda like the shape but have never seen them in person or heard anything about them

maybe im navigating the sight wrong but the ones i saw and liked were like 4500 dollars. and the skylines came in colors tht were all but appealing to my eye

No offense but color should be the least important of all the options. If it sounds and plays good are the most important aspects, if you get one that sounds good, plays good, and looks good to you then you hit the trifecto, but do not count out a bass because you dont like the color.

Checked them out, as in played one for an extended period of time?

Please don't tell me that checking them out by looking them up online is enough to tell you wether or not it is a bass worthy of consideration.

Also, a Carl Thompson custom isn't a Lakland as far as I am aware.
no, i have no means of playing one. amd i ws throwing in the fact that i didnt have enough for a lackland as a separate thing to save someone the time of suggesting one

im very open to color but there are some colors i cant stand. if im gonna be putting that much cash into something, i want to be able to like looking at it.
