Help Me Pick My Rig?

OK, i know i might be in the wrong place or breaking rules but if o, please kindly let me know and ill gladly fix it.

i plan on getting my rig completely done by christmas. but i really know little about this kind of stuff so i come here to ask how dumb of an idea i have haha. i already have a behringer ultrabass 450 W head and a behringer 1x15 cab and i think im gonna get:

Schecter 004 bass (already tested and love)
tech 21 sansamp tube amp emulator preamp
beringer 8x10 cab
korg rack tuner
SWR 750 power amp

and i think thats it. anyone think im headin down the wrong path? the only thing im iffy about is the 8x10 i dont know crap about ohms or whatever and i also dont know how it will sound with the 1x15 i already have. but i plan on testing all these out if i can before i go out and get them. any suggestions? thanks

What i would change is the power amp and the Cab.

Replacements would be
215 cab plus 1400 watts of power

Well. Hmm,
810=need a car/truck/van you can move it with and a friend to help.

I would say a 115_410 if you want a big rig.

Or 2 410 cabs. You can just take one with you if thats all you need.

Try a search on new rig, help rig, and other things like that in the "advanced search" and make sure to limit it to the Amps section. There will tons of good info.

Oh an please let us know what types of music ou are likley to play in the next 5 years. Do you want to buy and sell a lot og gear, or kee a rig for a long time. If you want to keep a rig for a long time, go to as many stores as you can and try everything.

Schecter basses are great.

I question your other pics; because you didn't say you have played them, and I would not buy them.

I don't see any point in having an 8x10 and a 1x15. An 8x10 and a 2x15 would be a better match, but thats over the top unless you are playing really big stages.

I've never played through a behringer cab with 10's, but I would have another brand 4x10 over a Behringer 8x10 personally. I had to use a Behringer 1x15 once and it had NO low end, I might be wrong but I assume the 10's aren't too great either.

Personally I would go for either:
Just an 8x10.
Two 4x10's.
One 4x10 and one 1x15 (the Behringer for now but maybe look to replace it soon).
Or if you like 15's, perhaps a 2x15 or two 1x15's.

I would stay away from Behringer also. Why an 8x10, split it up like Timi recommends above - gives you a lot more options than having to haul around an 8x10 everywhere.

well my original plan was to get a 410 anyways but i saw the 810 for cheap. i really cant do much about the head and 115 being a behringer lol i like them, they havent given me any problems and im fairly happy with my tone. i like to play a little bit of everything from hardcore/death metal to jazz and marcus miller stuff so idk. i plan on keepin whatever i get for a while. maybe not the head tho, i might replace that in the future
