I'm trying to understand what's happening here.
I see what appears to be an Ampeg SVT Micro-VR going into an Ampeg SVT 210AV and a Fender fridge (not sure which cab this is).
It appears the head pushes 200w @ 4 ohms, the Ampeg cab 200w @ 8 ohms.
So is he only pushing 100w each into the Ampeg and Fender cabs? Love his tone here, and I'm sure mic'ing / FOH plays a part.. But it seems quite under-powered?...
As an aside, and what is prompting more curiousity:
I've inherited an SVT 210AV, and want to eventually (potentially) pair it with a Mesa Subway 15 (powered by a WD-800).. In this instance, each cab would be getting 400w @ 4 ohms, yes? Might be risky putting that much power into that 2x10?...
