I have a friend who wants to find out about his fender by using the serial number. Is there a site or somthing I can use to find out the history of my fender?

With the serial number its date can be easily identified. A good site to ID by serial number is: http://www.provide.net/~cfh/fender.html

Post the serial number and model here and we can try to give you some info.
