I have a Dean Edge 6 fretless and am having trouble getting the Low B string to stop rattling against the fretboard. it is the worst at the "D." the other five strings can be set with a nice low action and no rattle or buzz.
could it be the intonation of the string? could it be the nut slot cut too low? if I jack the saddle waaaaaay up, I can get rid of it, but then it sits much much higher than the other strings.
