Double Bass help! questions about mixing Piezo and Mic, and mics

Hi guys,
I'm thinking about investing some $ towards new gears.
I use full circle with acoustic image with a flite speaker. I like the sound but am not completely satisfied with it.
I'm thinking about trying DPA 4099 and mixing it with my full circle. And here is a question, what would be the best way to mix that??
Also if you have used DPA 4099 that's your opinion about? how do you feel compared to other mics??
