Help reading a diagram

Looks like this diagram is done for wires that have the woven shield exposed. The shield/ground for the output jack wire should not be soldered to the inner conductor. It looks like there is a terminal strip with two terminals. One is ground. The other is hot and where the output of the pots make connection to the output wire. The ground terminal probably has a leg that goes down and is attached to a metal plate, or something, that is the common ground for all the pot bodies.
