Double Bass [help] Renting an EUB in Germany

Hello all,

I'm going to perform at the Young Artists Festival in Bayreuth, Germany, from August 1-10, and I'm trying to rent an electric upright bass so I don't need to bring one from the US. It has to be a EUB because I'm traveling with an electric strings ensemble. Better yet if the instrument has 5 strings, but 4 will do.

I can't find anything online. Any advice, tips, or recommendations are greatly appreciated. We can pick up the instrument in a different city in Germany. Thank you!

Try Sünnenblink Musikwerkstatt.
He is a builder of acoustic basses and hollow body EUBs and rents them.
Unfortunately not in Bavaria but the northern west of Germany.

I have a Clevinger 5-string (high C) but have a gig at the 6th of august with it and am located in th middle of western Germany.

Closer to Bavaria is Jonas Lohse at Frankfurt. He might have an Eminence you might be able to rent since he is the local representative for Christopher and Eminence.

The link from Louis is Mastri which has a local double bass center in Munich named Bassico. I‘m not sure if they have EUBs, but this is the closest for central Bavaria.
