Help! Searching for the perfect short scale bass.

Did you considered assembling a Warmoth? They make fine short scale bodies and neck.

A little note on custom builders....
they get a LOT of people wasting their time with enquiries that never turn into sales. If you sound like one of those, don't be surprised if they are a little blunt or dismissive. So respect their time and ask your questions here where people are happy to answer them.

The short scale market is quite meagre in terms of off the shelf...especially for a jazz style bass, which is what I'm looking for.

How about one of these then upgrade the pickups and electrics? Only £69 quid and I've heard good things about them.
