Help shipping a hardshell case

I need some advice on shipping a big item (the case) from the US to Brazil.
Is someone aware of a courier service that would ship it for a reasonable value? USPS won't ship it because of a 46" maximum lenght limit. And FedEx got me some impossible high prices.
I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Check out USPS Global Express service (not express guaranteed, but regular global express mail). Different international USPS services have different size regulations. For most countries, there is just a max limit of 108" (length+ girth) for global express. Most rectangular cases like Fender style will fit under that regulation (with the box of course).

Girth = (width + height) x2
If you can fit it in a 20x8x52" box or smaller, it should work, but check with your local post office first of course.

Thanks for the tips, guys!
I've checked both DHL and USPS Global Express. DHL had a really expensive shipping cost and USPS just wouldn't send it.
Biggest problem here is that I'm not even buying a bass, I'm really just buying a hardshell case!
I'm trying to find out if any friends of mine or relatives just happen to be in the US so I can try and ask them to pick this up for me (yes, I'm the buyer, not the seller here).

Thanks again!
