Help with Amp and cabinet purchase

Hey all:
I played professionally for 15 years and now getting back into it after about a 10 year break. I've since sold all of my amps, cabs - I need new cabinet/amp. Any help is appreciated. I will be playing smaller rooms but want gear with at least 300-400 watts. I want good, quality stuff that sounds great and can be transported via compact car. Any help ? Thanks !

I don't think anyone can really tell you what to buy!
The best thing to do is take your bass into some music stores and try it through as many rigs as you can.
Hopefully 1 of them will speak to you more than the others.

it really depends on how much you want to spend. Personally, I would go for a used Gk 700rbII and an 8 ohm Avatar 112. Great for small rooms, but you can add another cab later like a 210 and have a killer setup either way. Portable, quality, and inexpensive. If the 700rbII is too much $, then a GK Backline 600 used can be bought for around $200. They are 300 watts @4 ohms, and very capable.
