Help with Boss JS-10 eband

Hi Everyone,

I bought a JS-10 online to help learn songs on my basses. What I can't figure out is how to set it up for bass, how to reduce the volume of other instruments on the song I am trying to learn and how to boost the bass so I can hear the bass part better (lousy hearing, genetic). Also, any tips and tricks with a JS-10 eband would be appreciated.
