Help with C4 synth pedal

Hey so I just purchased a C4 synth pedal and I cant seem to get it to work with my pedal board. The original power supply I used was a Gator Cases Power-5 with all 9V outputs. I realized this pedal probably takes 18v because I couldn't get sound out of it.
-So I tried using a Donner Power Supply with 8, 9V outputs 1, 12V DC out and 1, 18V output. I tested the synth pedal with the Donner Power supply while connected to the 18V out. Success, the pedal worked as intended. So I then Wired up the Pedal board chaining
Bass-->Korg Pitchblack Tuner9V-->C4 Synth18V-->Pitch Fork Pitch Shift9V-->Bass Big Muff9V-->Sans amp bass Driver DI9V-->Dark Glass Alpha Omega900 Bass Head.

All the other pedals worked besides the C4 Synth pedal. It would recognize power but, would not produce sound to amp.

What's the solution here?
A.) Different power supply? (If so please let me know which ones have worked for you. Im not opposed to buying a new Power supply).

B.) Is there a Converter I could use from 9V to 18V from my Gator Cases Power-5? Which is my preferred power supply.

C.) Anything else you can think of?

The C4 is 9 volts 165ma. You need a high current 9v supply.

I went with a CIOKSDC7 DC7 Power Supply for my SA pedals.

It is definitely a 9V pedal- you should never try to power a pedal with higher voltage unless you know for sure it is safe. Hopefully you didn’t damage your C4 in the process.

What is the current output at 9V of your power supply? The C4 requires 165mA, which may be more than your supply can provide from each outlet.

Also make sure you are plugging into the right input 1 and output 1 (the top set of jacks)

Yep sounds like current draw issue. I've had that happen when I rewired my board and plugged one of the low current spots to the high draw pedal, which believe was a Darkglass Hyper Luminal, which has a 250 mA draw.

I use a Voodoo Labs Mondo power supply, FYI.

Hope you did not fry the pedal. Try the one we included.
Yes, please use a 9v supply that can deliver more current. I suspect the one you are using is only 100 ma.

The power supply provided works with the pedal thank god. Wow I'm stupid for not even looking on the back. I was searching around online and someone said that you needed 18V. I feel pretty dumb now. So how can I incorporate this pedal into my board. What power supply would be reccomended?

C4 is 9V but higher mA than some. Haha, was just going to say that a 100mA source probably won't cut it. But since Mr. Source replied I guess I can delete this.
I use a Walrus supply on my board but I have the C4 on one of the higher outputs. One nice thing about the Walrus Aetos is that it also has a 120V receptacle in case you need it for something that won't run LV. Studies show people who buy what I buy are statistically happier in their lives.

So now the next thing is to get that thing dialed in with a MIDI switch, make your life a lot easier and make your neighbors know there's a bass player next door!

Im very interested. What is this? Can you post a link? I live in the woods and my neighbors are pretty far away. Im always looking for new ways for them to hear me lol. Im checking on that walrus supply right now.

If you have a daisy chain cable, you can use that to combine two of the sections of your gator 5. Two 120mA sections will make for 240mA output capacity.

There are also a bunch of supplies with high current outputs (cioks, voodoo, etc), including the gator pro 8.

There are a number of compatible devices. Since we're bass players and we don't have a shipping pallet for a pedal board, size and convenience wins for me. I use the DMC Micro, it's $130, I think. You can store and scroll 128 presets. So you really never run out of fun space.

Here's how they go together. It's not too hard and you can keep your phone or tablet connected to the C4 while you browse and edit or create your patches. I'm so old I still call them patches so if I can do it so can you. This is kinda sensitive to USB cables so go ahead and get the gHOST adapter cable, it will save you setup time.

I have mine just below the C4 on the board. Since you can enable/bypass the C4 with the switch there's no need to touch the C4 most of the time so it really doesn't matter where it is. The black cable in input 2 is the programming cable for the phone, just enough space to remove it easily. The board itself is about $25 project from a home improvement store, about a 30 minute build.
I use the analog effects or I use the C4. The comp is always on pretty lightly, first behind the tuner.

Is that a bottle opener on your pedal board I see? Looks real real good. The whole board looks nice and clean too. Im drooling over your board in general. I appreciate every ones help a ton. I am heading to my local music store tomorrow to make a few purchases. Ill post an update when I have everything in working order.

Of course it's an opener. You gotta be able to get the beer out. That board is a 1X2 trim board, a 1X3 trim board, some screws and glue and a can of spray paint and 2 cabinet handles. Happy with the result for the cost. And it's strong enough to stand on so no panic to take it out of the house if, you know, pandemic stuff...
If you get bored enough I'm happy to send the homemade plan, beats spending over $100 for a metal rectangle.
