Can anyone give me some ideas?? recently purchased a New Bass I havent played in 15 years but would like to see if anyone knows how I can listen to my bass thru headphones and listen to music thru the same headphones to play along with?? so as not to bother the wife and i can practice in private??? thanks for any help

Go to a pawn shop or local CL. Most of the small cheap practice amps have headphones out. Don't spend more than $50 if you go that route though. Then you could still turn it up if you get alone time.

Most new micro bass heads have headphone outs, and many have an aux in. But then you're in the $100's range.

Another option may be a headphone amp. But without looking I wouldn't know which ones, if any, could take a direct bass signal.

There's a start anyway.

You should check out the Phil jones bass buddy- it's a very high quality headphone amp with all the features you could want- plus it can be used as a preamp/di also. Super clean sounding, with an aux input, etc... Great reviews also! I love mine.
