Help with ID

Bought this on a whim for another project bass. Like the 3 on my bench aren't enough

Can't find anything online about this brand, but since it's just the body it's more of a curiosity than anything else.

I'm guessing it's a 5 string. Any idea what bridge would go on this? I haven't seen a bridge cavity like this before.

Yeah, I saw the Reddit post, was hoping someone may have had more information here.

Still stumped about the bridge.

If memory serves me correctly, I believe Gentry's parent company was (is?) Tokai.

I found a Gentry branded Floyd Rose tremolo clone guitar bridge on the Tokai forums. No confirmation on whether or not they're related.

It remains a mystery.

Single string bridges with a part that goes into a route on the body like these. Note: I have no idea if these actually fit. Check the measurements. I believe Ibanez single string bridges use a similar recess.

It looks like the lovechild of a Washburn T14 and the Fender Tye Zamora Bass.
