Help with light diy bass cab.

Hello, just to ask you about port diameter and deep tube.

Or computer program to calculate dimensions.

I want to make a small light cab with one Eminence LEGEND BP 102-4 10" Bass Guitar Speaker for low frequencies. The main idea is a vertical cab, around W 12, D 11, H 15 to 19 but not sure, didn't calculated yet.

The mid and high frequencies will be covered with 4 speakers: Faital pro 3fe25 16ohms with their crossover to 2kh, 800 hz or 300 hz, not sure yet.

Must be a 4 ohms cab, and will be rehearsals main cab. My band rehearsal is not too loudy.

Someone could suggest any free computer program to calculate dimensions?

Parts Express makes it easy to look at all the Eminence design info that they make available. You'll find several different designs here -- you have to pore over the data some to find it, but there are recommended enclosure volumes with porting info -- you can use your own cab measurements as long as they provide the recommended internal volume.

Looking at the drawing, I don't think you've accounted for how the 3FE25's are mounted. I don't think you've left enough space.

Also, if your goal is "lightweight", having an array of mid speakers plus crossover is going to be significantly heavier than using a higher power single mid or just a tweeter.
Hello, lightweight is lightweight but, thinking in that you say, I figured to lift a thin and tall cab with the handler near of your hand on natural body position could be better than bend over to lift a lower fat bass cab with the same weight. Isn't too much power so I can use 3/8 plywood on sides walls but 1/2 plywood on floor, front and rear sides. That is why I was planning in a thin and tall cab. Of course could be a little bigger the mid section, or maybe.....now you saying, could make an horizontal inside "V" form on mids section to mount 4 speakers and save space, I could be. After all is just a small power cab, just for rehearsals.

Check the weight of the type of plywood you use, there can be a big difference in weight depending on what type of wood it's made of.
I am thinking of using Gaboon marine ply for my next build since it is fairly light, but it costs a bit more then some other plywood.
Proper Marine ply is usually very high quality, and the gaboon is lighter then many others.

Personally, I can’t think of a worse or inappropriate choice of drivers for your application.

the combination of very low sensitivity (~90dB/1W/1M) and difference in sensitivity between LF an mid array, and the orientation of the mid array results in a colossal waste of your money IMO. It’s also going to be a lot heavier than you think. There is a significant penalty to the 4 ohm version of this and most drivers, in most cases almost all of the additional power delivered by the amp is wasted.

There are much better approaches that have been part of several TB DIY project threads, all of them much better than what you propose.

If you’re going to build your own cab you are better off copying a proven design where possible ( I understand many have proprietary drivers).
I have an eminence DELTALITE 2512 | 12" Neodymium Series Speaker - Series II, and I was thinking to make an Aguilar SL112 copy, but it is too big for what I need, beside of that the aguilar wood is extremly super light.

I would not copy the SL112 because it doesn't use the DL2512-II. Copying a build only works if you can get the same speaker that's in the original.

The DL2512-II is a recommended speaker for either the Bill Fitzmaurice Jack12 or Simplexx12. Either one would be more than enough for your needs, although they aren't what I would call small cabinets.

I also built @Arjank 's Piccolo 8, which is a great design when you use the recommended Beyma 8G40 speaker.

A single 10" speaker won't give you what need by itself? Maybe just one mid speaker crossed at around 2k? It should give you more than enough high end against a single 10, and be far less work and weight.
