Help with neck!

Looking to exchange a neck on my Squier Precision, but all the Precision Bass neck online are quite expensive, except for the unfinished one, but i'm unsure if i will need to finish it myself, or if i can leave it unfinished. also, will i be able to remove the tuners off my old neck and use those, or will i need to order new tuners?

ok, few issues here : )

First off, you have to be sure the neck pocket is going to fit. Ive never owned a squire, so im not sure what will fit it to be honest.

Second, if its bare maple, its a damn good idea to at least use some tung oil or wipe on poly, both which are easy to apply for a neck.

Third, depending on what the neck is drilled for, you should be able to swap your tuners.

Hope this helps

This is probably what I figured, but wasn't sure. Thanks.

Also, would i finish the whole neck, or just the fingerboard or back of the neck?
