post = this little thing I'm doing now (this reply)
thread = the little thing you just did (a main topic with a group of replies)
forum = a whole GROUP of threads pertaining to a particular general topic (like basses, setup, electronics...etc...)
you will not be creating any forum...

i think you want to start a thread. like you just did.you do this is you want to ask something or show something. f forum is i believe talkbass as a whole.

well maybe it's just an Australian term (i noticed 'tom once dead' is an Aussie)
But down here we use it all the time.

it means the same as "yankin' your chain", or "pullin' your leg"
Aussie venacular is very colourful (so much so that I've even begun SPELLING aussie [ref to "colourful"])
