So, there's a set of pickups that I absolutely Love (Fender Gen 4 noiseless Jazz bass pickups) BUT I can't seem to find them anywhere available for a 5 (V) string Bass. So I was wondering; Is it any way possible to find another set of J Bass pickups that have the same exact "specs". as these pickups do
? and if so; Would that set of pickups sound the (exact) same way as the pickups that I really want/prefer? I know TB has a lot of very knowledgeable/techy(ie) guys on here and I hope this is not a totally ridiculous question; but I had to put it out there 'cause I really like the sound and tone of those pickups; (they're the pickups that came stock in the Fender American Elite Jazz Basses).
