I find that I set all of the knobs slightly left of dead center to get the tone that I like. That is a setting that is easy to remember.

I would be happy with an XLR out, and now there is a guy that will do it for $50....I may just do that.

I'll take a look at your blanks. Are they the same size as the real VT? (Asking this because what I wanted to do is a blank same size as the VT with same graphics, punch holes for the knobs, bypass and LED, then put it OVER my real VT-Bass so not to lose it)

No, I'm afraid not. These were made to fit best on a sheet of 8½ x 11, with no real thought about matching the actual size of the pedal.

TS, what do you use to make these blank sheets? I'd like to make some for my pedals.

I'm not sure what "TS" is, but I made these sheets in Adobe InDesign. I just "drew" them manually, using the Illustrator-style tools in InDesign. One could just as easily use Illustrator, but I feel more fluent in InDesign. I didn't use Photoshop because I wanted the files to be high-res without being overly large in terms of file size (in more precise terms, I wanted vector graphics instead of raster ones).
