Hey, sammich freaks, test your knowledge!

Shawarma is not a sandwich at all, so not that strange. It's also known as kebab (kabob). The difference being that shawarma uses lamb while kebab got cow meat. Hugely popular fast food dish over here.

I got 5 to 6 of 10. Which is better than I'd have thought. :p

thats incorrect.

shwarma is actualy a very regional middle eastern sandwhich, OR meat only. its also not always done on a kebab, but can be shaved from a large spit.

over here it is made with chicken or beef. Sometimes the chicken is called shis taouk.
its usualy served here with hummus, salad, pickled turnips onions and garlic sauce.

a close middle eastern friend told me in alot of middle eastern countries it is like street meat is here, and is sold on the street by vendors.
I eat it at least once a week.
