Hi from Milan

Hi everyone

I'm from Manchester, UK & have been living in Milan for about 20 years.

I've been dipping in and out of this site for a while, getting tips on equipment, especially before I got my latest amp. I'm nowhere near being an expert bassist like a lot of you probably are but I really love it, play in a couple of bands & get the odd gig here and there.

I'm looking for advice on strings. Can I just ask here in the intro section?

I've got an Epiphone Les Paul Standard 4 string and play what I'd call classic rock like Creedence, Springsteen, Floyd, Purple etc.

Any suggestions on the best strings to get? I'm useless with stuff like this.

I like flats with foam rubber at the bridge for my Country, Praise and Rock. Flats and foam get me close to an upright sound that I like.
