Hi there

New here, and also new on the bass world , I've been playing guitar for many years , but recently I became curious about the bass. Back in the time I studied classical guitar and reach a decent level. I'm quite used and have some lets say fingerpicking technique which is quite helpful .

Welcome. Now it will be follow the chords and play the active chord's notes one note at a time. Not a big step, theory is theory and rhythm is rhythm, notes are the same just played differently. How many of them you play is left up to you. Just pounding roots by them selves -- to the beat will work. Root-five may be better. More than that will come with time...

Most of what you will be playing, right at first, will be well served with root-five.

Thanks , not obsessed with speed, most of the times less is more. I'm just getting used to the instrument, trying to enjoy some basic chords notes /sequences .
