I've been a long time lurker here but decided to finally sign up and join this amazing community. The threads on here are basically my go-to resource anytime I have questions about playing and gear. I started playing bass about a year ago with zero musical background and learning technique, groove and theories all at the same time has made progress slow but super rewarding (in person lessons have stopped-started-stopped again because of the pandemic so I've been left to my own devices). My love for it has only grown and I'm as committed and eager to play as I was on Day 1, if not more so. Recently bought a used MIM 50s P bass (and still have my starter Cort Action 4 Plus) which feels amazing to me. Playing through a PF350 and 210 cab, and have a few pedals I love to use too depending on my mood.
Looking forward to reading more great discussion, and now contributing to it as well when I can.
