High quality gig bags - which ones fit in overhead bins?

The new Reunion Blues Continental case is wonderful. I prefer it to my Incase Slim and my Undercover bags. I've flown with it numerous times - gate checked and all - and it's always been totally fine. I even feel comfortable gate checking my 68 Fender Jazz in it!

FWIW - this is what sold me:

I have had great success with checking the SKB golf case:

A big plus for the golf case is that the TSA people know how to use the latches- that's not the case with the SKB Bass Safe (which I also own), which invariably arrives only partially closed.

It's also under the weight restrictions and can fit two basses in gig bags. A lot of the guys I know use it and no one has had any problems. I know checking a bass is never comfortable, but neither is arriving at the airport with only a gig bag and encountering an uncooperative gate agent.

Do not get fooled.

They don't look fancy or trendy like some of the others but I love these bags...They kick booty.

Ian, what makes you like it more than the Incase? I am debating between the two, but I already have an Incase Dub and the backpack straps on the Incase look to be much nicer than the ones on the RB, and that's a big deal for me. I do wish the Incase had the neck holder strap, though.
