Hey everybody, just wondering where all of us seniors are headed to for next fall.

Hey. I do not know anything about rob narin, but I can tell you that Paul Johnson is an incredible teacher. He has a way of teaching that is like none other I have ever had. He really understands how to help someone develop from wherever they are, even if its undeveloped, to a truly high level of playing. I have improved so incredibly much because of his help. Can't recommend him enough. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Not to mention Paul Johnson looks like a lumberjack...and lumberjacks don't mess around...not really relevant. On a more serious note Paul is a great guy and I have heard nothing but positive things about his teaching.

I'm going to be attending North Dakota State University next year. I started taking lessons from Dr. Bill Law a few months ago and I'm really looking forward to working with him at NDSU next year.

CCM with Al Laszlo, Peabody with Jeffrey Weisney, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore and Glenn Gould School with Jeffrey Beecher. Where should I go....

I recommend CCM With Al Laszlo...I went there, he is one hell of a teacher and the school ain't too shabby either...Peabody would also be a good choice...but yeah...CCM

None are bad choices if you want to learn how to play bass. If you want to get into an orchestra either Peabody or CCM. If i had to choose, I'd choose Peabody.

I can't decide between Indiana with Lawrence Hurst, NEC with Larry Wolfe or Peabody Paul Johnson (though I may get into Jeff Weisner's studio if someone drops out)......Where should I go?

Larry Wolfe is really fantastic. I think you should go to NEC.

I'm going to Whitewater in Wisco, probably transferring after a year but we'll see how I like it.

Paul Johnsons Studio is equally as talented as Jeff Weisner.

I had a lesson with Jeff Weisner when I visited Peabody in the fall. I got a lot out of it and will definitely audition next year. His approach really made a lot of sense to me and he seemed like he would be a great teacher to study with. I've also heard a lot of great things about Paul Johnson.
