Higher Scale TABS

Hello!

I am looking for TABS that focus on the higher scale. Any and all recommendations are welcome. I have some classical books from Hal that cover some of this, but, not much. Even less (but some) in jazz. Any good books you know of let me know!

Thanks in advance!
Bill

Same pattern you used on the "lower" frets work on the 12 and above.

Natural Notes & Sharps on the Neck of the Bass

Major Scale box pattern showing notes listed as 1, 2, 3, etc.
G~~|---2---|-------|---3---|---4---| 1st string
D~~|---6---|-------|---7---|---8---| 8 is the R/1 in the next octave
A~~|---3---|---4---|-------|---5---|
E~~|-------|-R/1---|-------|---2---|4th string
Place the box's R/1 on the E string 8th fret and the box has notes of the C major scale waiting on you. Want minor, flat the 3, 6 & 7. Everything starts over again at the 12th fret.

Major scale = R, 2, 3, .4, 5, 6, ..7,. 8
Minor scale = R, 2, b3,4, 5, b6, b7,.8 Major scale with a flatted 3, 6 and 7.

A note's 2 is always same string up two frets.
A note's 3 is always up a string and back a fret.
A note's 8 is always up two strings and over two frets, etc. etc.

Have fun.
