I just bought a Daphne Blue Highway One Precision from Musician's Friend. I really couldn't pass up the price, $530 for an American Made? It's almost too good to be true... My major question is, what are the tonal/visual/playable differences between a MIM, HW1, and a USA? I know the main difference is the paint, but what else?
I was also thinking about putting a new bridge/pickups in it... Wise? Either way, I was going to "hot rod" my MIM p-bass with a Bad Ass, but I don't know anything about bridges, so any help would be appreciated...
