Hipshot Double Stop installation?

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my Hipshot Xtender with a Double Stop Lever. However, I wanna make sure I installed it correctly. The attached guide says that in the lowest position, to ensure that the middle tuning screw not touch the swivel plate. However if I do that, the middle tuning position is way too low. How can I adjust the screws so that the middle screw doesn't touch the swivel plate in the lowest position? I'm probably having a brainfart. Thanks!

You should contact Hipshot customer service, they are very helpful.

I have no experience with extenders, so sorry I can't be more help.

Reverse which screw you use for the middle and low position.

They mean that, in the playing position(s), only one screw should be touching, the size of the gap is inmaterial. You're appear to be fine.
