Hmmmm... What color this time?

I did an ash P bass in RR Trans Orange, I mixed Ebony stain with grain filler, worked it into the grain and then sanded it back, painted, then RR clear. It makes the grain POP thru the orange.

I'm at work and can't post pics, but you probably saw it on RR forum about 2 years ago.

I WANT THAT NOW :D

I was going to suggest Trans Orange, and this bass just shows why IMO.

Every time I see a pic of this bass, I need another napkin for the drool.

And yes, this is exactly why I would go with trans orange.

Markus that bass is always what I picture when I think of an orange bass. I love how it's brighter than most that you see.

Thanks dudes!

Update:

Well I decided to go with a burst on this one. I was going for something a little lighter on this one. I saw a jazz bass that had a cool muddy brown burst. I was going for that, but the colors I used were bit more red than I wanted. Oh well. I'm considering sanding back and redoing it, but it's not like this one is terrible. I'm tempted to lay down a couple of smooth clear coats and call it done and let it relic on up naturally. Simalar to a HWY 1. Then again I could finish as normal, polish it up and sell it to get a new dinky J body which I've been wanting for a long time now.

Dyed with transting Honey Amber and sealed.
