Hofner CT String question

I currently have a set of La Bella 50-100 strings on my CT Club but I'm thinking of replacing the strings once I get the frets worked on. I use TI's on my P bass and I adore them. I figured I'd give them a shot on the Hofner.
I've found the JF324H 42-96 set but they say they don't fit non German Hofners. Is that accurate? Are the silk ends too thick to fit in the tuners? I have no issues with the La Bella's fitting the tuners as they're more like guitar strings on the ends.
I've also thought about the Hofner/Pyramid set but those would be the last in line after the La Bella and TI strings.

nattiep:
Thomastik-Infeld jazz flats are so expensive (and excellent) that it would be unwise if they are warning you against doing that. Stick with what you know fits, the LaBellas for Beatle Bass. Their light gauge set for Beatle Bass feels closer to the feel of the Jazz Flats from Thomastik.
I see you are from Buffalo. Nice city, my son and his wife live in North Buffalo, he works on Delaware Ave.

OK, so my set of JF324H arrived this morning…
It’s to fit a German Hofner but was still a little concerned about string diameter and holes in the winding posts. The good news is the the winding ends are tapered and thin enough (just!) to get through the post and if you get 3 or 4 winds on the post before the string thickens out.
They really could do with another inch or so of thin string before it thickens out and the silk finishes right by the post.
The gauge of the thin winding end of the E string is 0.06 inches / 1.53 mm so that’s the size of hole you need in the tuning post.
Ball end to silk distance is 35 inches/ 890 mm which is also the distance from my tailpiece to the tuner so they only just fit!
Certainly lower tension than the stock Hofner/Pyramid and sound-wise they are so much better. Better string balance (no more thumpy dead E) and much more sustain. Not the traditionalist’s view of a classic Hofner sound but certainly more like the sound in MY head.
As you say you already use jazz flats so you know what you are getting.
Hope this helps.
