Hofner Icon tuner replacement help needed

Hi all,

A tuner button broke on my Hofner Icon and I need some help replacing the part. I've emailed Gary at North Coast and according to him, my best bet is to contact the dealer where I bought the bass for an exchange of some sort. I'm reluctant to try that, though, as the dealer is 500 miles away (in OH and I'm in NYC), the bass was bought 6 years ago and I don't have a receipt, and the Icon isn't even in production anymore, so it'd be difficult.

Anybody else had a similar problem? Open to any solutions here, thanks!

Have you tried to contact Hofner? I'd think it's worth shooting off an email.

Yep - just did that right before I posted here! I figured I'd get a quicker and more reasonable response from the good folks here. I did a search, too - someone posted a couple of years ago with the same issue and didn't get a reply, I'm hoping for better luck!

I have a complete set of tuners I just took off of my Hofner Icon, your're welcome to them.
