The last guy has straplocks finally! Funny vid. Never occurred to me to spin my expensive guitar like that! Gonna not try it right now!
And the next morning on Craigslist ... "Squier Telecaster for sale. Road worn, but mint" ...

Serious question: say you pracatice hard and learn to do that reliably.

Nita Strauss was teaching guys how to do this at her guitar camp & posted a video of it on FB.
She got chastised by the viewers, but AFAIK she still does it herself at shows.
She also does a bit where she holds her guitar up only by the strap at the neck end & with the vibrato arm on the other end:
This is why I believe she's not using the crappy Edge Zero II bridge on her signature model, even though that's what's equipped on her $1,500 Indonesian-made signature guitar.
That cheap bridge couldn't stand up to the abuse she gives it & stay in tune.

Kudos tot he drummer in that one clip. Looked like he didn't miss a beat when the guitar landed on his kit...
So ******** though - even with strap locks, the screws could just pull right out. That one guy doing the multiple spins must have some really long screw holding the pegs on. I wish daddy would buy my gear for me too.....

This is why we have so many strap lock conversations on TB. It seems to be an afterthought for many players, even those who intend violence.
