this thread makes me want to drink coffee. I do not like coffee.

Sometimes, I find people do not like coffee because when they have tried it, it was terrible. Other times, they just don't like it no matter how good or bad it was prepared.

I'd like to try good coffee some time.. kind of like pipe tobacco. I go to a master level tabacconist to get mine, I can't deal with store bought crap.

I'm glad we had that warm day here last Monday, It gave me a chance to roast a couple of pounds.

Not being a big coffee drinker, I've never heard of that brand. I'll give it a try

Same here, I brew coffee everyday and I roast enough coffee for 3-4 days twice a week.

I have tried it in my espresso machine and haven't been impressed. I prefer whole bean and the only Lavazza I have found is ground. Doesn't taste all that fresh to me.

Well is usually do too, I knew I was running out. I just forgot about roasting more. Don't worry, I roasted more so I am good to go for tomorrow.

Man, for anyone wanting some great fresh roasted coffee Counter Culture has some fantastic African coffees right now. I've had two different Burundis and their Biloya sun dried Kochere over the past two weeks and they've all been just outstanding. Highly recommend.

I'm currently hooked on the Brazilian from Dino's Coffee Bar in Olympia. One of the guys who runs the place is also the roaster. He loves to talk coffee roasting, so I always pick up pointers from him.

Can't go wrong with anything from Olympia Coffee Roasters. They have a few roasts that scored in the 90's from Coffee Review. Every Friday they do a cupping at the roaster that is open to everyone. Very educational. Sustainable and responsible roasters too, which is important to us.

I was at a coffee shop today, Death Valleys Little Brother, and had an Ethiopian Kona and it was like a punch of Apricot in my mouth. Man, that was good. A friend of mine, who is not a coffee drinker, tried it and regretted his decision to not get a coffee.
