Home-fix for deep-ish scratches?? can anyone recommend me?

I've got a Les Paul guitar, its a nice shiny Black Enamel sorta finish, and I accidentally made some short scratches along the side surface. One of the scratches wasn't too deep, the scratch still appears black, but its still a scratch. And the other scratch is a little deeper, and you can see some white appearing along the scratch. I've added a picture, dunno if they are clear enough, I'm not a good photographer nor do I have a good camera.

I was wondering whether there are some enamel or lacquer or whatever I could perhaps buy at a hardware shop that might help me at least put a thick-ish finish over the scratches so it'll appear black and smooth. Or do they sell special guitar lacquers? I know I can take it to a luthier but I'd like it if I can do it at home.
