Home Theater brain trust collective

I've been dipping my toe into the world of home theater recently, as our family (5, 8, 10, spouse) all enjoy playing nintendo switch together and we do about 2-3 movie nights a week. It's a relatively small room, which is great for saving on power, but harder to get spatial audio done well. My setup is modest, but still easily overpowers my room.

I'm running an older Denon receiver, 7.1 setup with front height speakers. Polk center and height, Infinity front towers, and Jamo rear surrounds. Sony 12" powered sub. I have a 75" LG Nanocell 90 series TV that I love. And a big family sectional to hold the crew. It is tuned via audyssey and tweaked and sounding really nice.

I've been piecing together used and new gear the last couple years. I will post my exact current setup soon.

Not sure if anyone on here cares about this subject!

I will add, I upgraded my rear surrounds for Jamo surrounds and they are a game changer. I also upgraded my receiver to a Denon AVR-X1700. It's impressive the tech advancements from my older AVR-E400. The system is treating me and my family well!
