Yeah, positive to positive to preamp
Negative to Negative to ground. Ok for single cell batteries, not so good for 9v
Very strange. Assuming the same chemistry and a similar SoC it should be fine for 9 V also. Maybe one was dead or something.

Intuitively it should, in actual practice not so much.Very strange. Assuming the same chemistry and a similar SoC it should be fine for 9 V also. Maybe one was dead or something.

Oh, I will post more pictures of the finishing process as well as the obligatory NBD post.Thank you for sharing your journey with us! It's been instructive and fun.

Ok, I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what kind of foam to use for the case.
Got the battery pack sorted. My earlier attempts with velcro were a failure. So I made a small baggie for it out of leather. Also you can kinda see how the electronics package fit inside.

Also received the stand, and it works! (Pictured with the longest foot for the bass which puts it at standing height)

That's interesting. Would love to see some details on that. Scale length, type of strings used, pickup choice, etc. etc.Really cool reading ...I just found this after building my EUB

I like the 2x4 construction! A friend of mine built a beautiful Telecaster out of knotty 2x4s, and it sounds as great as it looks!
