How accurate are Fender catalogs?

A few years ago I bought a no-name chinese jazz body off of ebay for $80, it came in a variety of metallic colors. The one I bought was shoreline gold, but they had a burgundy mist that looked very similar to the one in the reverb listing. This is the body I bought.

Not saying that yours is this, but it is certainly possible somebody slapped a US neck and a few nice looking parts on it to make a sale.

I wouldn't think so, look how strange your pickguard "fits" (or doesn't) around that lower horn. The bass in question has a better fitment, closer to the real fender. (That's not to say it isn't just a better copy though).

Appears to be a Highway 1 with a swapped 1-ply pickguard, and the chrome covers and finger rest are not stock to this either.
