I hate to be a bother, but i've been trying to make another attempt at a first bass, because my used ibanez is nearly unplayable.(High action, Broken truss rod, broken EQ knob, ect.)But i've been lollygagging. But i've recently been thinking of getting this jay turser 50s tele style bass. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] I'm probably gonna mod it anyway, but i just want to know how jay tursers are in general, and what wood it's made out of. I've heard that jay tursers are made out of alder, or ash, but the site doesn't say. I'm afraid that it might be basswood like the squiers, and i've heard basswood is one of the worst tone woods. Thanks in advance.
