How do I disable email notifications?

I swear I have looked through and turned off everything that looks like it would trigger an email, but I'm still getting them when people quote something of mine. Is there a global "please, for the love of God, I never want to be emailed" option im not seeing?

The only way I've ever found, is to start writing a reply, but got the "more options" button, which reveals a "and receive email notification" check box.

Uncheck, and no more emails.

Can also get there by clicking your avatar then "preferences" and turn off anywhere that says receive email. I turned off most of the automatically follows also.

Strange - it works for me.

Did you try the other suggestion, of changing the notifications options in your account settings?

If there isn't one already, TB should ad a simple "unsubscribe from all emails" button in user settings.

Ahh, I think I've sorted it, I think?
There was a box still checked in the 'preferences' area of the account settings, I've unchecked it now and we'll see if that fixes it. , but yeah as Swerve says there should be a simple button that's easy to see.

Errm, nope. woke up to 20 odd talkbass mails this morning
I don't know, it's not like I ever want to look at email alerts I just delete them without reading, It's far easier just to look at the Alerts drop down on the site.
