How do you cope with being lonely?

learn. there are times when a person is in a situation where they cannot be with other people in a social setting that makes them comfortable. study. if you have access to the internet [as you seem to, because here you were], i'd suggest checking out MIT's open courseware. it's great. stanford, harvard, tons of universities are making their curriculum free and open to the public.

if nothing else, learning enough about certain subjects will make you sickened by the superficial, shallow interactions people call friendship too often, and thus slightly less lonely.

also, drawing or writing, star gazing, whatever you dig.

basically, strive for creative and positive activity that gives you a sense of accomplishment. at least you won't be wasting the time you've been given to better yourself.

'the spaces in between leave room for you and i to grow.'

dude, you're 15. Awkward age.. I remember when I was 15, it sucked.
It gets better though, a lot better.

Go out and get involved in stuff -sports, clubs, after-school activities, whatever. It doesn't matter what, it just matters that you're socializing and meeting people. Tell yourself that you're the best bass-player on the planet, that you're a shockingly handsome stud and you're a lady-killing smooth-talker, lie to yourself if you have to. Eventually, maybe a year or two, maybe a few months, you'll believe it and once you do, you'll be wetting the noodle on a regular basis. Just remember to wrap it.
