How does Arby's always taste the same?

Everytime I go there---no matter what state, what time, what season, which year--it always tastes the same. There isn't even a slight variation in taste. It doesn't seem possible. It's roast beef. Everytime I cook roast beef it tastes different.

Can that be safe to eat?

I don't know this for a fact, but I've heard that Arbys is pretty much all fat, it's disgusting, etc.

I don't know how you get fatty, disgusting food to consistently taste the same, but yea they are able to do that. Corporate standardized recipes, equipment, and food sources probably.

Arby's roast beef is a processed roast beef like those fake chicken patties. It's probably made from some roast beef, some eyeballs and A*&&#%@= and lots of fillers and flavoring. Look at it closely some time, no fat, no veins, no grain, no variation in texture. I think it's NASTY!! :spit:

The reason it always tastes the same is because it's all made in the same place, then re-heated at each location.

Yeah, and then they mold it back together so that it resembles a nice chunck of beef and slice it 'fresh' to order.

Ha---well, it does taste delicious, but I think I'm going to avoid fast food for a while.

I've been around the agriculture and food industry for some years.

Arby's does the same thing as many other processed meats - it's chipped and basically re-assembled into a meat slab. The slices are cut from that slab.

Nothing really wrong with it - it's the same meat you would eat in many other products - it just has been processed differently. If this bothers you, don't ever eat hot dogs, sausage, lunch meat, pepperoni or any other meat except something you personally slice off a carcass.

I eat at Arby's a couple of times a month. I like it.
