How long?

I had to learn a set in three days for a band i was playing in, easy stuff, but i had only heard the songs once...they were originals. Needless to say the band didn't get pissed at an occasional screw-up but now i have another practice to go and i'm expected to play the set perfectly. Only two songs recorded to work on. I think i'm screwed

How do they expect you to do your job if they're not doing their job by providing you with recordings or charts of THEIR songs?

Last original band I was with expect everyone to contribute their own parts. 5 guys from very diverse disciplines of music made it an interesting (and fortunately, successful) situation.

Didn't have to be professional, but the least they could've done was record a rehearsal for you to work with on your own time.

If they're being d_cks about it, I'd follow invader3k's advice.
