I'm thinking about tuning the low E up an octave on my Fender Fa-450ce. Hope the instrument won't fall apart.
So you've graduated from breaking strings to destroying necks.

Well, at least you've sorta moved on. Not very far, but at least it's not the exact same thing.

For people who have 'accidentally' done this, more than likely the string will break OR the tuning machine.
I recall a friend of mine broke a tuning machine this way, by not understanding how to tune to which pitch.
For the kind with the tiny little grub screws holding them in place, it might break free from the screws & spin in the socket.

That's what happened to me. Snapped the E string. Neck was fine.
The neck will handle it long before your bridge separates from the top, probably pulling strands of the top along with it. I'll put my bets on Bb. Fender FA-450a
