How much would you pay...

If someone was selling an SVT4 on Craigslist, but said it was broken and not getting sound when hooking up to a cabinet... but you just had to offer him on how much you'd pay?

It could be as simple as a tube change or fuse change, or could be a whole motherboard being out, would you risk buying it for lets say... $200?

Depends on how good you are with electronics. If you can rule certain things out when you take a look at it that would help. Does it power up at all? Make a popping sound when you turn it on? etc.? Lots of variables that I'd need to know before I offered anything.

It does power up, but doesn't have any distinct popping noises or anything when it is being turned on

You've got to ask yourself one question: do you feel lucky today

Prob $50-100. Depends on how much of a gamble you want to take. If it powers up, it isn't the fuse. You can plug in through the effects loop to see if it's a tube. Other than that you might have an expensive problem.
